'Maggi Goreng - The Malaysian street favourite! A staple in the streets of Malaysia, maggi Goreng is a fusion & take on the classic Indian go-to ingredient - Maggi! Follow Chef Harsh Garg as he cooks up a storm in his kitchen with this yummy & easy recipe that can be fitted into meal schedule, literally!  Ingredients required to make Maggi Goreng:  For the Maggi Goreng sauce:  1.5 tbsp sugar  1 tbsp dark soy sauce  1/2 tbsp light soy sauce  2 tbsp ketchup  1 tbsp curry powder  2 tsp salt  For the noodles:  2 tbsp vegetable oil  1 onion, thinly sliced  6 garlic cloves, finely chopped  2 packets of Maggi noodles  1 tsp red chili powder  1 egg  2 tbsp Maggi Goreng sauce  1/4 cucumber, sliced  1 tbsp ketchup  How to make Maggi Goreng:  1)Place a pot of water on high heat and bring it to the boil.  2) In a bowl, mix together all of the ingredients for the mee goreng sauce and set aside.  3) Place the noodles in the boiling water and cook for two minutes. Drain the noodles and run them under some cold or room temperature water. Let the noodles sit in the cold water for a few minutes until we are ready to use them.  4) In a wok, heat up some oil and fry the onions and garlic until translucent and fragrant.  5) Drain the water from the noodles and add them directly to the wok. Make sure it is on a high heat and quickly toss the noodles through the onions and garlic.  6) Add the red chili powder and the Maggi seasoning packets to the noodles and toss through.  7) In a separate non-stick pan, heat up a little oil on medium heat.  8) Add the mee goreng sauce to the noodles and toss through. Make sure it is mixed properly.  9) Crack an egg into the non-stick pan and fry the egg until the whites have set and the bottom is crispy and golden.  10) Place the noodles on a plate. Place some cucumber slices along the side with a dollop of ketchup.
